If dead trainers were alive today..

Post by VG_Addict »

Let's say a dead trainer were still alive in the present. Who would they train?

For example, say Eddie Futch were still alive. Who do you think would be a good fit for him?

I wonder who invented the cold iron, that they use for bruises to a boxers face? was it just a random act "quick grab me that iron that might do the trick" type of scenario?

I think Eddie Futch training Shawn Porter would be a good combination.

Lomachenko or Rigo would be a real find for any old time trainer, if all that talent and ability could be allied to old school smarts and punch power improvements it'd be great to see how great they could be. Lomachenko could be another Benny Leonard.

So many great trainers have passed on but too bad they didn't pass their knowledge on to todays trainers. If they could talk today they would say WTF happened to boxing.
