For me it's not about Joe and Joe alone. It's sportsmen in general. The mere idea of spending an evening listening to one rattling on about anything has me yawning. Great at doing what they did, I know, I watched.

I can categorically state now, No one in Hartlepool will understand the lingo of Calzaghe. Is he taking an interpritor with him. Also a little bit of advice for Mr Calzaghe, do not ask why they are called 'monkey hangers' you will not get out of Hartlepool a virgin.

I'm told that in person he is quite funny and interesting. I just don't think that part of him came across on the TV. ITs probably a matter of being comfortable in front of the camera. That was absolutely mortifyingly cringeworthy, I can remember almost hiding behind my hands as he was doing it, he had this smarmy expression on his face, and they did this bit where he was shadowboxing for what seemed an eternity - excruciating - it was like watching a compilation of all the most mawkish bits of blind date rolled into a single episode.
