Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
BM just tweeted this!?! WTF?
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
Fury put all that effort into looking lile a dick for nothing? Wonder if Brook vs Chavez will still be PPV?
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
His arse fell out probably
D
Failing that i hope its nothing to do with any of his toes!

Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
Real shame, The Batman stunt frightened the life out of him.
Be interesting to hear what the injury is, surely in a case like this, the awful awful "Interim" word should come along, I hate that word but for Fury
to miss out on a big fight would seem very very unfair, although if the injury is minor then of course no point Tyson fighting on that date.

If this is true, and a significant delay, I can see Tyson hanging up the gloves. He will be dismayed at yet another fight falling through.
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
Peter fury just tweeted it no rumour
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
Tendon injury, possibly a tear. Hopefully not Achilles.

I am genuinely gutted by this. God knows how Fury is feeling. Like him or not, no boxer deserves to go through the amount of let-downs he's suffered in the past few years, particularly with fights of this magnitude.
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
Tyson Furys Twitter will be funny later today
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
Yeah he is a bit of a nob but he hashad bad luck with pull outs this will be a huge test of his mental strength for sure.Boxerbeetle wrote:I am genuinely gutted by this. Anychance Tyson and Hughie get moved over to sheffield depending on the layoff?
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
On the plus side at least we don't have to pay extra on top of our sky subscriptions for Brook v Chaves

Up Step David Haye!

Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
One report saying its a Calf injury and they will announce a new date next week, sounds a bit quick to make an announcement, if something is bad enough to call the fight off, surely you would want the injury to settle down for a few weeks before making an announcement.
Re: Klitschko Out Of The Fury Fight!!
Don't bank on it. We'll probably see a "stacked card" to make up for it. Eddie has revenue commitments to Sky.Naandrew wrote:On the plus side at least we don't have to pay extra on top of our sky subscriptions for Brook v Chaves

The Furys would be wise to be reasoned (at least publicly) when they hit the airwaves in the next few minutes and hours.

What a sickener for Fury and for all of you on here who have booked tickets for the fight with flights/accomodation etc.
I did think Fury was going to be stopped but still a real shame he doesn't get his chance next month. Hope a new date can be arranged
