I get the impression Eubank Jr doesn't take instructions well. In the BJS fight Ronnie Davies might have not been there. Booth won't take no crap, I can see them clashing.

Booth knows him well. He had in the gym loads of times sparring Groves and can't speak highly enough of him.

Booth seems to be a man who wants everything his own way yet it says he's 'helping with coaching'
Can't see him playing second fiddle to Ronnie and certainly doesn't seem like the type of character to accept the level of intrusion you could expect from Snr.
As many have stated it looks like a disaster waiting to happen

This has got disaster written all over it.

Absolutely no way in a million years Eubank will let Booth do all the talking in the corner. He will want his standard get in the ring and pose at least for one round.

Booth likes to have one voice in the corner. I'm not a fan of Adam Booth but to be fair his advice in the corner is calm and measured each time. He's probably the best in the game for this.

I would like to think Booth has asked for assurances that Eubank Sr won't get involved before he agreed to do this.

However it's interesting to note that Kugan didn't interview Booth at the press conference and said in his video with Hearn that the Eubank team didnt want to be talk to him.

So I wonder if Sr is already being the boss of Booth by saying, 'Dont go on IFL TV.'

There are too many big and fragile ego's involved for Eubank Jnr to have a straightforward and profitable run; his father is deluded about his sons ability, Ronnie Davis must be an emotional masochist to stand for all the bollocks; Jnr does not have hiis feet on the ground and apart from being a body beautiful does not have the smarts or the desire to win ugly if need be. Sorry to be so negative but it is a circus, bringing any other trainer in is silly unless it's one in and one (or 2) out.

I don't really understand (and I'm not British so I don't know as much about Eubank or the other trainers involved) why Eubank Sr. doesn't either train his son himself, or just get the hell out of there?

I get that Snr is a bit of a ........character? But if he truly wants success for his son, why not step out of the way and let those best equipped to help him do their job? I don't see other top fighters with family members doing all sorts of interventions in the corner during their fights (unless one is actually a trainer or cut man, etc). So why is Snr. just standing around looking like he's trying to be in the limelight once again?

Anyway, this all reminds me of Naz vs. Barrera, when I think he had about fifteen people advising him at once between rounds. And that obviously didn't go so well.

Surprised Booth didn't give Kugan an interview, I'd assume he was too busy to give, you know - a press interview at a press event.
