No, they keep your money having not provided you with anything at all. You buy a ticket for an event which is promised, they cancel event and keep the money. That sounds logical to me.

Ever think that you may ask a really stupid question sometimes that has an obvious answer?!
I once bought tickets for a Johnny Armour fight that got cancelled and they kept the money. I was only 16 at the time. I remember hating him for it! I actually think it was him or his dad that pocketed the money as we bought the tickets off them.

In Klitschko's defence, I'm pretty sure that wasn't the real Batman.

Might work in Fury's favour.

Klitschko was such a strong favourite for this. But the longer it's delayed, the more it benefits the younger man, surely?

I'm sure Fury's fans would rather it be in February too, will be very difficult to afford it if not refunded hotels/flights for the October date

Tyson's dead right about Brook's PPV in the article. And bless him for calling Eddie on his undercard BS.

Agreed, he's gone up in my estimation after that. Got to admire his honesty, the boxing world would be a better place if more boxers were as honest as that.

And it would be nice if Hearn & Sky took note - when a professional fighter is criticising a PPV, you know something is wrong.

When away from his own career and not in a hyperactive mood, he is good value. He seems a nice fella to me.

Some the things he does make me cringe, I have been critical of him in the past (Who am I to criticise I know) and I'm still not sold on him as an great fighter either.

However, I have really warmed to him recently and I would want him to do well in any future fights.

You can't argue with the facts that he has been extremely unlucky and you have to feel for him in that respect, certainly recently. We will never know the true 'why didn't he fight David Price Story' (Well I won't anyway) but from that point on he either has or would have fought anyone.

I really am growing to like him.

Bonte said Wlad was seeing the Doctor yesterday and initial statement said a new date would definitely be confirmed this week.

No news on the Doctor visit and no sign of new date...

Just that Wlad can box then, no official confirmation. Not really enough to re-book flights and hotels on!

This is what he said

GREAT NEWS!Just heard from my team @HennessySports @peterfury that @Klitschko has had the all clear to box nov 28 Düsseldorf.#LETSGETINONNNN

But with booking flights ect with the way boxing is at the moment you cant believe a fight is going to happen till you hear the first bell

Guess not but the way things are even if its official you still would be dubious booking flights. This is what he actually tweeted

Apparently down to Sky to try and authorise an unprecedented extra ppv this year, sod unprecedented this is a fighters career and you cannot make him wait until February just because it does not suit your schedules. Authorise it and be prepared to take the hit should it bomb, (which it won't).

Perhaps now they will realise that ppv stuff like Brook/Gavin may come back and bite you on the arse at a later date.

They can't surely do 3 in 8 weeks !! Even Klitschko Fury isn't a PPV fight in Germany like Haye was.

It makes sense all round, except to possibly Eddie, for Sky to put Brook on Sky Sports.

Fury isn't a Matchroom fighter, so Eddie won't care about Fury's best interests. Ridiculous to try to make him wait another 4 months after all these delays just because they want to find a PPV date. Hopefully Fury & his team won't deal with Sky again after this.

I'd be very surprised if Sky force them to move it. It'll be Nov 28th.

Whats stopping SKY from putting on another three PPV's, I don't get it???

Even if 1 (or 2) do bomb, they're still in pocket!

SKY can surely do what they want in regards to PPV's, and have 12 a year if they like. I don't get all this 'there's no PPV slot available in November'. Who makes and decides when a PPV slot will be, well surely SKY do, so if they want a Fury to be PPV in Novemeber it will be!
