Anyone Taking The Hawk vs Broner?

Khabid is for real, a lenghty talented southpaw
His best shot is the lead right hook to the body
He has a nice set up jab and some serious body punching skills
This kid has fluid hands, not THAT much power, but precise shots that cumulate in combo
Khabid shows interesting footwork reminding me of what Pirog used (inserting lots of switching)

He is a spectacular finisher timing precise destroying shots in a split second... Like all southpaws, he has that greta hook he mixes in casually

It will be intriguing to see how much the layoff and the questionable loss hurts him. If he is in full shape and not rusty, i think he could take out Broner.

Broner has a good beard so a stoppage is unlikely. It will be tough for him to get a decision over Broner though. I hope he can do it, but I can see a Broner split decision (controversial) win.

Going on his last performances Broner doesn't have great output himself, so outpointing him is not out of the question at all imho.
Let's hope we see a dedicated Broner, if not he can chalk up another loss..

Must admit, I already chalked this up to Broner and awarded him his 4th World Title when this fight was announced. That was because i didn't know much about his opponent. From what i'm hearing on this site from people that are familiar with him, this is not cakewalk for Broner. I'm pretty excited about the fight.

Just don't know how we have 2 guys coming off losses in their last fight and now they are both fighting for a vacated belt. So dumb.

The Hawk was robbed in his last fight vs Vargas. He's really undefeated.

But will the layoff affect him? Top Rank kept him inactive for 18 months.

the long layoff and how the true outcome will translate on the cards (like for the postol fight) is what is making it tough to predict imo

Sorry freedom should've posted this in your thread...maybe mods can merge both

Russians win by default. I expect Khabib to win a decision. Although he might get robbed...

I don't believe he was robbed. I had him winning but t was a competitive fight.

Allahkerdiev can really bring pressure and volume with good shots. I think he could definitely outwork Broner, now as to the official result......

He'll have to beat Broner very decisively or stop him. A Russian fighting against a Broner backed by Al Haymon in Cincinati? I'm tending towards the stoppage as his only hope, and I don't think that's likely. Khabib hits sharply, but he's not a hugely concussive puncher.

Broner will probably take it on points, ultimately, in a fight plenty of people thought he lost. That's my prediction. I wouldn't bet on Allahkerdiev unless you really don't need that money.
