I'm gonna throw out some love for more recent trilogies that haven't been mentioned yet...
Barrera v. Morales...amazing trilogy between two all-time greats and quite possibly the best two featherweights of their era. Based on Morales' comments after his loss to Pacquiao, it's looking less and less likely that there will be a fourth fight between these two.
Carbajal v. Gonzalez...it seems like I just got done making fun of the IBHOF for inducting them into the hall
...not quite hall of fame fighters but they were the best in their weight class for a good portion of time and put together three great fights. The first fight was classic...one of my favorite fights of all-time.
Jones v. Tarver...the fights themselves weren't great (the first first one was pretty good), but it should be mentioned if only for the fact that it highlights the downfall of one of the great fighters of all-time. Tarver KO 2...that line still brings a grin to my face whenever I see it
Ward v. Sanchez...okay, okay so they only fought once. I don't care. For those who haven't heard about/seen this fight, I can only say it's one of the strangest fights and finishes you will ever see in boxing. I just wanted to throw in a random plug of a fight no one talks about![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
