Get your point It would be like Stuey Hall winning the IBF belt at Bantamweight. It just felt a bit weird as fans however you can't take that away from him.Yes We Can wrote:I'm hoping that people don't take domestic level as an insult, i think its a wonderful achievement. I hope he makes it interesting, my only worry is if he suffers a 12 round pummeling like Buglioni did.black panther wrote:Yes We Can wrote:
Started at HW as well.
As much as i would love for Ovil to get the win, I kinda feel like it might devalue the division a little bit.
Huck, Arslan, Lebedev, Drozd, Makubu, Mchunchu,Chakhkiev, Usyk, Glowacki, Kalenga,Afolabi , Hernandez.
Ovil just genuinely doesn't fit into that crowd, and i like to think after his win against Ola that Ramirez really does, if not you'd have to suggest he was shot to bits and got caught at the right time. He's had a great career and i love the guy but he is a domestic level CW.
Good post mate, pretty much agree with everything you say there. But it would be niceto see someone like Ovill get the rub of the green for once! Seems like a genuinely nice guy and has done things the hard way.
like I say, a Ramirez win is best for the division.
Big ask for Ovill but if he wins I really hope he gives Bellew and Eddie the two fingers when they inevitably come begging.
I reckon there would be very good money to fight Glowacki on PBC, Huck in Germany, Usyk in Ukraine or any of Rybanskys Cruiserweights in Russia.
