cant think of who it was......I would like to watch it again......the ultimate display of professionalism was shown
televised fight,(espn or fox sports?)
2 Spanish surnamed fellas
later rounds.....fight was on the ropes and one guy caught the other right on the button and he was standing up knocked out
the other guy stopped his punch midair and caught him from falling, he held him on his feet and called the ref over.....then helped his opponent down so the dr. could look at him.....then immediately showed concern...REAL concern about his opponents well being......when they announced him as winner after they took other guy out of the ring he was humble and didn't celebrate like an ass, he went to his opponents corner and shook hands with his team.......I think there was an interview too where he talked about his opponent being a good fighter and how he was thankful for the opportunity
does anyone know which fight this was? I would like to watch it again sometime..........I would definitely like to show it to the kids in the gym a lesson in sportsmanship........thanks
fight from about 10yrs ago....

Very familiar and I'd like to know, I remember seeing it but don't remember their names sorry to say
On a side note, Golovkin showed a similar level of respect in his debut I think, not celebrating and helping the ref get the opponent up and to his corner

Another show of sportsmanship is when Ray Oliveira was complaining of problems with his head against Emanuel Augustus, every now and again he'd grimace and put his hand to his head. Augustus saw this and only threw punches to the body until the fight was stopped.
I expect you were aware of these already but I like to bring them up!

You might want to go to YouTube and type in sentences like "Boxer helps opponent after stoppage", "boxer pulls punch to save opponent" or stuff like that. If it was broadcast on a network like ESPN (relatively) recently it might very well be online and possibly be found there.
Also, since someone brought up Emmanuel Augustus vs, Olivera, I figured we could also remember when he threw a two-handed punch at him, that was pretty cool.
