Will be in Manchester on December 19th, no idea on undercard, but Buglioni won't be allowed anywhere near George Groves anytime soon, he took enough punishment against Chudinov, he doesn't need another beating like that from Groves.wesshaw1985 wrote:Hopefully this gets re-arranged as a London tent-pole event for Fr@nk W@rren and B0xNati0n.

Why put this fight in Manchester ? Neither guy has any link to Manchester, cannot see how it sells.

The only 'big enough' venues in England are the MEN and the O2 and BJS would very much have home advantage at the O2, so it's a neutral venue.Black Sam Bellamy wrote:Why put this fight in Manchester ? Neither guy has any link to Manchester, cannot see how it sells.

Fwank likes Manchester and would probably 'stack' the card with most of this Saturdays boxers providing they win.MarkMcBurney wrote:The only 'big enough' venues in England are the MEN and the O2 and BJS would very much have home advantage at the O2, so it's a neutral venue.Black Sam Bellamy wrote:Why put this fight in Manchester ? Press conference to announce the new date today has been postponed. Strange one, surely they had a new date to announce so wonder why they have had to call it off, just announce the sodding thing.
Re: Saunders v Lee off?
Wembley Arena and O2 are booked up until after Christmas, only date available is December 12th at Wembley, which would be madness with Joshua-Whyte on the same night. Only other place that either has any link to is Dublin, which is too small.Black Sam Bellamy wrote:Why put this fight in Manchester ? Neither guy has any link to Manchester, cannot see how it sells.
