Nurse vs Jenkins bill switch

Post by broomy7s »

Pulled from Smith vs Fielding undercard to be placed on Perez vs Crolla undercard. Very poor form from matchroom, the habits and old tricks starting to creep in a lot more. Echo arena undercard is shocking with a month too go.

It was ordered by the board dates set then put back. I think hearn wants it later hopefully for a world title not a british title. It cud b made ppv then. Now with this fight moved wat else is on that bill. Havnt seen any other fights mentioned only a month away

Think it's got Cardle Dodd for the British and Tom Doran prizefighter winner on there in an eliminator for the British but yes very weak card a month out

Its not ppv so they don't care!

Expect more of this too with Degale, McDonnel, Cleverly and Selby all likely to fight abroad more often Matchroom so called big shows will be left to be the same level as the old Friday leisure centre shows.....but at least we got those every week!

I have my suspicions too mate. Hearn said he didn't want it for British it deserved more and now with Callum Smith now no.1 in wbc we might see it cancelled and are-arranged once Smith beats Jack.

The fact Masher has gone on and shifted 900 tickets himself has probably convinced Eddie he doesn't need another decent undercard fight, bought tickets a few weeks ago but it is a disappointing undercard!

I believe Ricky Burns is now the chief support on the Liverpool bill. Hopefully they can find a decent opponent.

Rematch on saturday then, might be decent, might be a snoozer?? i thought Nurse edged the 1st fight but draw seems fair,i think Tyrone will get this one, seems to have more in his locker than Jenkins, although Chris was ill leading up to the first one if i remember

TBH i think Limond should be fighting for this belt after he relinquished on the premise that the winner would face him, seeing as Nurse or Jenkins couldnt win it then i think Willie should have got the shot, apparantly he didnt want to vacate but the BBBC told him either vacate and get 1st shot at the winner or be stripped and plummet down the rankings and at Limond's age he didnt want to risk falling out the rankings

Leaning towards Nurse myself but as you said Jenkins may not have been 100 percent in the first fight and has travelled around britian getting good sparring for this fight I heard a real 50/50 looking forward to it
