Kay's for me, that loss on Gonzalez's record is bad. Kay's had a cracking battle with Sykes, if he's not over the hill he should Nick it on points.

Adrian seemed to hurt John every time he landed flush, Kay's seemed to imagine he could walk straight in. The uppercut was an excellent punch and so well picked out.

Adrian has matured into a young man now, and his man-strength is more telling in his punches.

He kept his patience and speared him with some accurate , quality punches.

Onlookers we're probably looking for more work rate, but that approach would have suited Kays more, than using his height and reach.

Overall it was a good performance.

In the replay you could see Gonzalez just waiting to pouce with that uppercut and it hit Kays perfectly,beautiful shot but Flanagan stole his thunder with his ;;-)

Nice performance, Kays is no mug but feather-fisted and a bit chinny even down at super-feather, doesn't particularly look a lightweight in frame whereas Gonzalez looks to have really developed and grown into his frame - he won at a canter really.
