It's pretty bloody obvious what he's getting at - purses for this fight are not affordable based on a standard Sky show in a small-ish venue, so he's using some of the profit from the PPV to balance out the 'loss' on Kell's show. At no point is he suggesting not paying Brook until after 28th November FFS...

And our point is. No he won't.

You imbecile.

Just because the money from the PPV is coming in on the 28th doesn't mean Brook (and everyone on the bill) can't be paid from the money in the Matchroom coffers before then.

You've listened to an interview, assumed something incorrectly and don't seem to be able to get a simple counter argument through your head.

He won't have to wait, he'll get paid either on the night or in the days after. The PPV money will cover his purse eventually but Matchroom will pay him using money they already have in the bank, then make that loss up with the PPV money.

The Sheffield arena is not, in any way, small and it won't sell out. It's bigger than the Nottingham arena, which was big enough for Froch v Bute and Mack on SS1. Eddie regularly contradicts himself regarding SKY. He always says what a great broadcaster they are but likes to have a dig about how little they pay. Which one is it Eddie?

I fear I'll come across as selfish and mean and what I take from this is that Brook is ctoo big a fighter to be shown on 'normal' SKY and is such an attraction I have to pay £16 to watch him box anyone in the top 20.
