There is a UPI article archived on Google on "Kid Death" Thomas that details him being kayoed by Haggerty in 45 seconds of the first round. The article from 181 chronicles Thomas being shot and nearly killed in a San Antonio barfight and later falling 60 feet while roofing and nearly dying again.
