Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
Basically a rehash of Hauser's first USADA article with a little butthurt thrown in.
At least Hauser was man enough to admit he was wrong about the DCO "catching Floyd in the act of getting an IV"; about Floyd notifying USADA in advance of it; AND Floyd getting verbal approval of the TUE.
Hauser did take a nice try in making the case that Mayweather was not really dehydrated. Yes, Mayweather's blood pressure and pulse rate were normal. And Hauser is right to point out the prefight exam done by NASC revealed no dehydration issues. But Hauser conveniently gets myopic about one thing...which, in this case, is everything.
Dehydration has MANY more symptoms than the ones Hauser mentioned. And he also failed to note different folks may show different symptoms even if both are dehydrated.
The symptom he conveniently forgot, dark or brown urine, was observed by the DCO and the paramedic. The paramedic that was called after Floyd was not able to provide a full sample.
I sincerely hope USADA calls Hauser's bluff and releases more testing info. But, even if they don't, it is pretty clear there is not much here.

Interesting :surprised:
Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
The ref is going to need to step in and stop this contest. Hauser is giving Floyd & Usada a beat down, exposing them for the cheats they are.
It's amazing that not once in their rebuttle did they say Floyd was dehydrated. Their lawyers are being as vague as possible using the term "phsyical condition" as nit to commit to the fallacy he was dehydrated to the point of being a medical emergency.
Stinks to the high heavens, fornicate usada.

Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
I like the bit about who AUTHORIZED the IV because the DCO cannot, also the Feds take on blood doping, this isn't going away

But, as I am allergic to bull$#!+, I can't; Instead I am guided by facts.
And the facts here don't point to any wrongdoing.
From WebMD:
Symptoms of Dehydration in Adults
The signs and symptoms of dehydration range from minor to severe and include:
Increased thirst
Dry mouth and swollen tongue
Weakness
Dizziness
Palpitations (feeling that the heart is jumping or pounding)
Confusion
Sluggishness fainting
Fainting
Inability to sweat
Decreased urine output
Urine color may indicate dehydration. If urine is concentrated and deeply yellow or amber, you may be dehydrated.
When to Seek Medical Care
Call your doctor if the dehydrated person experiences any of the following:
Increased or constant vomiting for more than a day
Fever over 101°F
Diarrhea for more than 2 days
Weight loss
Decreased urine production
Confusion
Weakness
Take the person to the hospital's emergency department if these situations occur:
Fever higher than 103°F
Confusion
Sluggishness (lethargy)
Headache
Seizures
Difficulty breathing
Chest or abdominal pains
Fainting
No urine in the last 12 hours
http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/dehydration-adults#2
Notice that the conditions described by Mayweather and USADA (and conceded as accurate by Hauser in his latest
offering of yellow journalism) would call for medical personnel to be summoned, but not necessarily require a hospital visit.
It says call a doctor if there is decreased urine production, which is exactly what was done. But, none of the conditions
which call for a visit to the ER were present or said to be present. As a matter of fact, Hauser made this case in the article.
In effect, Hauser inadvertently (and no doubt unintentionally) has proven the proper actions were taken.
LMAO!!!!!!!

Indeed, i skimmed through most of USADA's rebuttal... and they didn't seem to be rebutting very much.
It's pretty amazing they neevr even bothered to tell the public why Mayweather needed an IV or the reasoning for granting a retroactive TUE. Floyd on the other hand explained it with 4 words; "my urine was dark".
Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
Please tell me where you got the idea a doctor was called, a paramedic isn't a doctor ostrich, the paramedic was called to give the infusion according to usada, so the decision was made BEFORE the paramedic got there, also the doctor at the weigh in would know how to spot a dehydrated person, Floyd also said on the medical form he WAS NOT DEHYDRATED, how about the fact that there is no evidence usada notified NSAC about morales positive test, what they phoned up but didn't follow with paperwork, no email, usada are the best drug agency MONEY CAN BUY, literallykoolkc107 wrote:Listen, sometimes I would love to go all fanboy like you and jump to conclusions spawned by every little hater a fighter has.Pureist wrote:Heart rate and blood pressure will show the effects ostrich, face facts floyd is dirtykoolkc107 wrote:Basically a rehash of Hauser's first USADA article with a little butthurt thrown in.

Hauser works for HBO and the website where he publishes his articles is funded by Top Rank.
The fight is over.
Floyd is retired.
Time to move on.

I guess that's the narrow view of a mortified Floyd fan.
The bigger picture is the top draw for the last 6 or so years was involved a stitch up with a paid for drug testing agency. Boxing needs cleaned up. Floyd putting drug testing agencies like usada on the payroll and then buying secret exemptions to break the rules needs cleaned out of boxing.
Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
Doesn't matter who he works for or whether he is biased or not. He raised this issue and there is many questions that need to be answered, saying he's retired has no basis on this, he's responsible for his actions just the same if he bashed someone on the streetBadhusker wrote:Hauser works for HBO and the website where he publishes his articles is funded by Top Rank.

Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
Couldn't be bothered reading will the fight be changed to a No contest? Will Floyd be fined?
Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
If they had evidence of anything illegal, there would be more than one guy and a few morons yapping about it.
Where was the outrage when DLH was caught re-hydrating with an iv before the Pac fight? No outrage because he lost, so it was ok.
Keep pissing in the wind, and hoping someone will tell you it's raining.

Mayweather didn't break the rules because his chequebook made him exempt from the rules.
That's the viewpoint of a little Floyd fan boy. The rest of us are more concerned about the sport.

Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
i try to be fair as much as i can and not to
form an opinion too early or without trusted
sources. the thing seems fishy, but floyd's
argument of little and badly coloured urine
seems to make sense. yet i am surprised that
a camp with such professionalism as floyd's
preparing for such an utterly huge event can
allow their fighter to get to such a dehydrated
state especially since he didn't have to make
weight at all.
he certainly has nutrition and all intakes
- especially right before a fight - optimised,
but all of a sudden he needs a substantial IV?
really?

Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
I was curious as to why the drug testing agency would not comment further.
So I asked my brother in-law who is a doctor.
He answered that they can not comment because of HIPPA law.Without the person in questions
written consent.
So if Floyd does not consent to release the info to the public we may never know.
Nevada athletic commission will know and their decision can influence our opinion but
if they do not find a descrepency that would result in over turning the decision. Then I don't think
we will ever know the whole story.
Just speculation at this point.

Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
I haven't said much on this because I have been suspicious of USADA for many years and during that time I have developed an anti-USADA attitude.
I would very much like to see that organization shut down and have felt that way for a long time.
That being said even I and my anti-USADA attitude can see that Hauser has an agenda.
For me Hauser is not a credible source for anything against USADA, that is his goal from the start and he is going to manipulate his words and statistics to fit his agenda.
If I started seeing a lot of sports media outlets jumping on the bandwagon and releasing the same information that Hauser puts out that would be different but that hasn't been the case.

Re: USADA smashed by Hauser once again
I guess Floyd should have done what Pacquiao and most others have always done - avoided or refused any type of random testing. I never thought I would see the day when someone that is willing to undergo random testing is being more scrutinized than someone that avoids random testing. I swear, as time goes on people are getting dumber and dumber.

Open your eyes beyond your desperate pathetic fanboyism. Floyd has never taken olympic style tesing, only Donaire has. Floyd's relationship USADA has been exposed as a sham, a conspiracy that allows him to cheat under the guise of "TUE's".
Go stand a street corner screaming T.U.E like a seal.
