Golovkin-Lemieux and Gonzalez vs Viloria

Post by handsofstone »

I havent looked forward to a show as much as this one in a while,Gonzalez and Golovkin are 2 of my favs, and probably most peoples,Saturday nights gonna be a good 'un

GGG-Lemieux,2 world champions with serious power, fan friendly and both genuinely seem to want to fight the best now, fair play to David he couldve made a few safe defences in Canada and made twice as much fighting Golovkin down the line but he's took this unification straight away, and im happy for Gennady to finally get an opponent who he really wants to fight

I think this fight cant fail to deliver, both guys seem to want to put on a show and i dont they'll dissapoint ,Lemieux obviously is dangerous with his power and aggressive style but i still cant see past Golovkin,he has shown a solid chin so far but he's never fought someone who hits as hard as Lemieux, that being said i still think Golovkin will walk through David's shots and land his own which will have more of an affect,i see Lemieux finally falling round about the 10th

Gonzalez vs Viloria is another great fight and another great opponent for Roman, who has a great record of fighting the best,i think Viloria can make it competitive as much as anyone in the division but Gonzalez will still be too good,i havent seen Brian fight since he dropped a SD to Estrada but he's on a winning streak since,i think Gonzalez is p4p though and will stop Viloria in about 8

There's always the chance that Golovkin steamrolls Lemieux early so i think Roman Gonzalez could steal the show again

It's a good card alright; got to pick Golovkin and Gonzales to do the KO double but it should be exciting.

I'll come out now and admit it I AM A RACIST!!!

I had Golovkin a HUGE favourite over Lemieux (whom I love watching too). Then I watched some video where I found out that not only was Lemieux's mum Lebanese-Armenian but that he was also brought by an Armenian step-father (he never knew his biological French father).

After finding out that his 'toughness' level went up in spades in my opinion.

I know that's Pete Tong but I just view Armenians as right hard bastards.

I still think GGG wins but it's now 70/30 rather than 85/15, to me.

Everyone's expecting a war but i have a funny feeling GGG will surprise everyone and box his head off.

Great fight, cant wait.

Lemieux is 7/1 with most bookies.... feels like attractive odds given his power.

One to stay-up for.....best MW showdown for ages and loads of potential scenarios and outcomes.

Does GGG turn boxer or just go right for the take-out?

What the heck happens if Lemieux lands a power shot dead flush?
Will Golvokin just blink, shake his head and bomb right back....or will we finally get to see what he's got when he's landed on queer street?

Just hope Lemieux does not go into his shell for this one; use the power but be smart/patient about it.

Cracking fight that could end any time and anyhow....but Golvokin remains a clear favourite despite this.
