He looks pretty good doesn't he? He's fast! I must confess I have heard him being spoken of quite highly but have not watched a full fight as I am not a massive heavyweight fan. Does he get hit a lot? I will watch his fights now with interest.

Good win for Parker, he's beating his opponents exactly how he should be. It's time for him to take the next step.

I like Parker....fast hands, good power, and not afraid to let his hands go in combo, which makes him one of my favorites to watch.

Meehan has a good BoxRec ranking but I think it's inflated and I don't consider this a major win for Parker. It was an okay fight for him at this stage and he's winning like a top prospect should, but I'd like to see him up the opposition a bit and face a durable opponent like Duhaupas or Ustinov next, or perhaps Christian Hammer.

Parker does look solid, but I agree he needs a stiffer test than Meehan to find out where he is at. Parker was 5 yrs old when Meehan started his pro career. Meehan is way past his best, and wasn't a great fighter at his best.

Would love to see Parker against someone like Stiverne or Joshua, or any of the top 15 or 20 guys.

x2 on Stiverne for his next fight. I'd rather see him and Joshua fight late next year or early 2017.

Only problem with him is he like to brawl and has been tagged a few times. Once he goes up in class those tags could = good night.

The need to get him being a bit smarter in the ring...

I think so far he brawled with fighters he could afford too... otherwise he boxes nicely behind a good jab and solid straight which carry very deceptive concussive pop

Parker's skills don't particularly impress me, they are just fine. He is one of the hardest punchers in the division, though. But he is going to have a somewhat difficult time improving his skills the way he wastes everybody so fast.

KB said he sparred 35 rounds with Stiverne preparing for this fight, so there's a connection.
Would like to see that fight, but King wouldn't even let Stiverne fight Ortiz (the drug cheat).
I heard Team Parker are keen on a Jennings level fighter toward the end of next year. That would be pretty impressive for a guy who is only 23 now

He is well backed by his promoter manager and duco events... they have that PPV deal and are selling the events internationally... If he can attract tougher opponent, would be great for him

Who is his trainer? Often the trainer and lack of quality sparring partners can hold guys like this back too much.
