I thought Fonfara won by only two rounds and I had it even after ten, so I'd say that the action was close and I found it significantly more enjoyable to watch than what I see in a typical fight.

Kono-Kameda was entertaining too.

To me Fonfara won by 2/3 rounds. Very good fight. Very fine combinations by Nathan. Fonfara won the match "phisically". The turning point was in the 7th round, with an uppercut by the polish man.

Respect to Cleverly for clearly still having a lot left in him and making a fight of it.

Fonfara is clearly the #3 guy in the division on paper, but he didn't win this fight by as widely as he needed to. I was hoping he would close the gap between himself and Stevenson, but I think it has probably widened. If he fights Pascal or Beterbiev, it will clarify a lot about the #3-4 spots.

It was a terrific and close fight between Andrzej Fonfara and Nathan Cleverly with Fonfara coming away with a deserved decision. Both fighters throw lots of punches with a large percentage of them landing. One obvious flaw that both have is that they are far to easy to hit.

The turning point came just past the halfway mark when Cleverly broke his nose badly.
He did very well to get to the end of the fight.

Yeah, the broken nose was the turning point, I had Cleverly up until that point but afterwards Fonfara seemed to grow in confidence and Cleverly started to struggle to maintain his combinations.
Excellent fight, both men deserve huge credit.

Fonfara seemed to get hit a lot have a little smile and walk back towards the ropes

if clev didn't get the broken nose then may have been very different outcome but he Did and fair paly to fonfara for getting him with the shot that broke his nose and for his toughness.

Both Boxers deserve a lot of praise and fights like that are what we want to see.


Also im actually looking forward to watching cleverly again when before hand I wasn't that fussed about him.

Are you kidding ? Fonfara would win against Stevenson by KO if they met again . Stevenson is older and slower by 2 years . Andrez is more clever now and is tougher .

I have tried to watch this fight 4 damn times now and every single time I've been interrupted by one thing or another due to work commitments and I've had to put it on the backburner.
What I have seen which is 6 rounds is a hell of a good fight and a lot better than I expected.
I'll get it done very soon and submit a scorecard but it looks to be very close already from what I have seen.

This was a good fight & Cleverly put in a valiant effort.

Nathan looked like a gargoyle at the end of the fight with his grossly swollen nose & cauliflower Left ear; he's too brave & he's going to end up in a bad way if he keeps taking that kind of punishment.
