At least one in that round. Welborn daren't throw to the body anymore coz he's on 2 warnings.

Definitely, as soon as he steps up he's getting knocked out whatever the weight division.

MM's decision; but to be in a war like that against a guy who has lost 2 British title attempts must show he's not going anywhere now. I'd love to see a rematch but don't think Macklin will want it.

Never saw that going the distance but round 9 & 10 were classic. Great fight.

Macklin vs Welborn - That is one of the most biased commentaries I have ever heard on any fight. Smith was clearly scoring for his mate Macklin and that other commentator Halling is woeful, I've said what i think about Halling many a time but that has just really annoyed me. I had to come on here and say my piece.

I actually had Welborn winning that fight by 1 round, which with the point deduction would make it a draw. They totally ignored Welborn's shots, apparently they were ALL hitting gloves!! Smith you wanker, I'm glad that prat doesn't come on this forum any more as he wouldn't like what he's reading here.

Macklin to me looks shot to shit, Welborn wobbled him badly a couple of times and that second body shot wasn't even low, it was on the protector which Macklin was wearing high anyway!! The time that macklin took showed that he was really hurt to the body and to be honest I think it's time for him to pack it in. Timing off again, looks sluggish and basically that was an epic sturggle against someone he would have previously got out of there.

But apparently to paul Smith it's more or less a whitewash scorecard. Can't believe what I've just seen!!

Oh yeh and did you here SMith trying to compare it to a Mayweather fight at the end? Massive LOL. The guy's so blinded by his biasedness to his mates, they shouldn't let him near commentating fights where his pals are boxing.

Completely agree the 2nd low blow was borderline. Macklin was really playing up to that one.

Usual crap from Halling he'd have you believe it was Miguel Cotto in there against Welborn tonight. Sad to see it but Macklins finished. His comments about trying things that didn't work don't cut it. He should retire on this win. Welborn has lost nothing in defeat and can compete at domestic level from here.

I would rather they give a lower ranked uk fighters a shot rather than a knock over eastern european bums.
WAR Wellborn...

Spot on mate was with his trainer last week they quietly confident. J is in great shape and had a real good camp. Fingers crossed he can pull off a shock. #teamcooper #teamwelborn.
Would it be that much of a shock at this stage of Macklin's career? I don't think it would be

Yeah cause of level welborn has won at. Wen he stepped up to british level his been stopped twice.

Grest effort by welborn sky commentary was a disgrace and second low blow was on the belt macklin was hurt and used his brain.

Another one that should be a walkover on paper, tho it's not worked out like that on tonight's bill. Get the feeling this one will go to form. Hope I'm wrong and we get another great scrap.
