Eggington/Evans and Yafai/Cunningham
Re: Eggington/Evans and Yafai/Cunningham
I agree with Paul Smith that they should stop this now. Why send Cunningham out for more?

Why do I dislike Yafai? He's got it all, but just dislikeable.
And Cunningham should of been retired after the 11th at the latest

On this showing, Tete would absolutely murder him. Looks pretty average (for a 'world' level fighter) with none of the supposed fight changing power. Reeks of Butler...palooka wrote:I don't like the taunting by Yafai, I'll be cheering for Zolani Tete if they fight.
Needs to be stepped up and tested, looks stale.
Re: Eggington/Evans and Yafai/Cunningham
Yafai an arrogant prick. Thinks he's Naz.
Re: Eggington/Evans and Yafai/Cunningham
Arthur talking out of his arse too, saying that no one at the weight in Britain can match Yafai
Re: Eggington/Evans and Yafai/Cunningham
Lol no chance of that fight happening.palooka wrote:I don't like the taunting by Yafai, I'll be cheering for Zolani Tete if they fight.

Agreed, I used to be a big fan of Kal Yafai but he acted like a total twat tonight.palooka wrote:I don't like the taunting by Yafai, I'll be cheering for Zolani Tete if they fight.

Butler does similar based on that performance, Yafai is badly overrated.Baboon wrote:On this showing, Tete would absolutely murder him. Brave showing from Cunningham to hang around until the end but he showed no real effort to win it,hardly let his hands go and when he did he never stepped in with his punches,Yafai was dominant and showed some class in there although i would have liked to have seen him get Jason out of there

SKY and Matchroom are all a bunch of twats, maybe its in the job description.
Would love to watch Tete school Yafai before a 12th round KO.

Kal wants Kono to come to the UK so he can take his title away, he'll need better tests before he goes in against the likes of Kono!!

Sounds like Kono will have Tso next, then theres a line of guys who want him and many of those would be easier to make than bringing him over here (either of the Inoue's, Igarashi, Norasing, Concepcion, a rematch with Petchbarngborn, Ishida)

Also worth noting that Kono is backed by Watanabe who have a very solid (not great but solid) deal with TV Tokyo.
Re: Eggington/Evans and Yafai/Cunningham
Won't just be Yafai that's after him coming over here either, I'm sure Butler and Tete will both have one eye on him too.Boxing Prospect wrote:Sounds like Kono will have Tso next, then theres a line of guys who want him and many of those would be easier to make than bringing him over here (either of the Inoue's, Igarashi, Norasing, Concepcion, a rematch with Petchbarngborn, Ishida)

Eggington-Evans main event with Eubank-Jeter next week. It's only just sunk in. I've never felt so cheated by Sky/Matchroom.

What the hell, "The Savage"?
Re: Eggington/Evans and Yafai/Cunningham
They've saved all there decent fights for an end of year PPV for the casuals while us lot have to make do with this sh1t, they don't give a sh1t about the hard core fans.mickey1975 wrote:Eggington-Evans main event with Eubank-Jeter next week. E looked tentative in the first. Is the pressure of finally being expected to win is different for him.
