He already fought Smith at LHW and this new guy will be even easier, no one said Kovalev should be next fight but a step up from sh1tty Paul Smith will do, Yunieski Gonzalez would have been a good fight. He's supposed to be P4P top 5 (No.1 according to some Americans) so he should be fighting at a high level.

Ward is a real puss. He never really wanted to fight GGG. Golovkin was been available for years, but Ward preferred to fight Rodriguez or not fight at all. As soon as Golovkin got his first PPV and good chances of having more MW unifications, Ward is suddenly interested ? As most of the others, he "wants Golovkin but not right now".
