On allegedly this saturday,Crawford making 1st defence of his WBO Light Welterweight title against Jean
We're getting spoiled these last couple of weeks,Golovkin,Gonzalez and now Crawford who's fringe p4p top 10 already,it seems like only last year when he came over to beat Burns,i'd seen a bit of him before that and although i could see he was clearly skilled i used to think he was quite boring but since becoming world champ,he's been getting better and better and great to watch,he destroyed Dulorme last time in his debut at 140 and looked strong at the weight,he barely threw a punch in the first couple rounds, similar to how Golovkin,Gonzalez sometimes fight and all the other elite fighters who have that calmness and dont mind dropping a couple of rounds due to workrate but when Terence got to work against Dulorme he took to him apart
Jean's only loss was on points in an IBF title challenge against Peterson a couple of years ago,ive seen him a couple of times since that but nothing sticks out,he looks a strong light welter though and his physical strength could cause Crawford some problems but i still see Terence winning a wide UD

I'll be watching. Crawford is class & I like it when fighters from non renowned fight towns do well. The fans in Omaha are great.
Will also be interesting to see the new & improved Andy Ruiz.
And hopefully I can get a stream of Zac Dunn. Been following him for a while now. Not literally following him around. That would be weird.
And of course, West Ham beating Chelsea will be nice.

Crawford was fighter of the year last year but is having an awful 2015 from a momentum prospective.
From Burns-Gamboa-Beltran in 2014 to Dulorme-Jean in 2015 is pathetic.
Hopefully he'll have some more meaningful fights in 2016 as he looks a top fighter.

I really dig Crawford. Damn good fighter. His oppo's been shite this year though & everyone & their dog is running away from 140, aren't they?

Re: Terence Crawford vs Dierry Jean
crawford is one of the best fighters around hoping ,Terry Flanagan who is a big lightweight ,might meet as crawford is moving up weight sure Flanagan could go up
Re: Terence Crawford vs Dierry Jean
Crawford making it look easy, not out of 3rd gear yet.
Hed smash flanagan btw

Re: Terence Crawford vs Dierry Jean
Crawford should dominate the division very soon. I think Postol is the only real challenge out there. So he beats him and emerges as the number one in the division with few usual Haymon ducks floating about.

Re: Terence Crawford vs Dierry Jean
Another boxing masterclass from Crawford,he showed plenty of speed and ringsmarts but i reckon he still has even more gears he can go through,Jean who's pretty quick himself was never in it and when he did look like he was having success,Terence quickly put him in his place,i love Crawford's calmness in the ring and patience,he never panics or gets wild and is a true switch hitter in every sense of the word

Excellent performance from Crawford, fast becoming one of my favourite fighters. Sounded a great atmosphere as well, he's clearly a bit of a hero in Omaha. Would love to see him smash Broner next.

X2. Would be a good earner for both guys I'm sure and who doesn't want to see Broner get his ass handed to him?!Boxerbeetle wrote:Excellent performance from Crawford, fast becoming one of my favourite fighters.
