Got to say, having watched GGG recently, I'd have to agree about his beating Floyd, though I imagine Floyd might be slick enough to run, pick and poke and lose a wide decision. It's no knock, he's just no big enough to be taking on someone as good and big as GGG.

If they were the same weight, and both in their primes, it would be a hell of a fight. Not seen anyone as aggressive and technically correct as GGG around those weights for some time.

Loved reading this - the perfect antidote after seeing Canelo is talking catchweight against GGG. What a great trip and fantastic experience. Had to look up 'invisible lat syndrome' - had a chuckle at that. Good stuff.

I thought that was a typo and was meant to be 'invisible GAT syndrome.'

Am I missing something?

It means holding your arms out to the side like you have a roll of carpet under each arm to make yourself look bigger .

I watched GGG vs Curtis Stevens again today and the look of shock on Stevens face when he's decked says a lot I don't think he thought anyone could hit that hard

I think that GGG is like Duran, ALL of his shots hurt - the jab alone really busted up Lemieux, you could see him shudder every time it landed, and that's because it's delivered as a short chopping straight left, rather than a pawing or fencing type jab. The shoulder is thrown in behind it every time.

When every single blow landed is taking it's toll, opponents become very quickly demoralised, especially when on the rare occasions they land a flush shot, they just bounce off, that must be even worse.

I'm definitely a believer in GGG.

I can't think of another fighter that hurts you like golovkin with every punch he can deck you with his jab ,hearns blew out a little after 4/5 rounds but golovkin just keeps coming Julian Jackson might of punched harder with a single shot but he didn't have the boxing ability that GGG has .I did fancy ward to sneak a close win but now I can't see how he could get through 12 RDS without being caught

Amazing picture and looks like you had a class time.

Frank Galarza is class Kell Brook used him for loads of sparring prior to the Porter fight.

Making me want to go to NYC now for a huge fight.
