Floyd v Golovkin at 154lbs next May ( hypothetical )

Post by jessi »

A little unlikely and sorry if it's been polled before but I've been away.

Will floyd be able to defend against this monster puncher ?

Will GGG still be strong at 154 ?

Would floyd make him lose heart and frustrate him ?

Could this damage GGG's future if he lost easily ?

Do the general public know enough about GGG yet to make this a massive final fight for floyd ?

Will he even fight again anyway ?

Loads of questions but if the fight did happen at 154lbs in May 2016 what happens ?

:OhYes: If it did happen I'd go with GGG by stoppage. I don't think anyone 160 and under could go the distance with him.

you cant knockout what you cant catch clean , and if weight drained then I would think similar to Mayweather V Canelo fight

anyway its never going happen

Mayweather has perfected the art of boxing , hes completed it and people resent him for making it look so easy.

As long as doing the weight doesn't kill him, GGG K.O. Way too big and powerful for Mayweather. There's no way Floyd could run away from Golovkin for twelve full rounds.

points. Mayweather is too good defensively. He might not win a round but he wouldn't leave himself open to too much.

Certainly not to the head, but Golovkin would be strong enough to break him down with body shots - and he wouldn't swing wildly like Pacquaio or Canelo when Floyd sat on the ropes, GGG is great at picking punches.
