Australian Masters Games

Post by fox »

Just got back from Adelaide where the Australian Masters Games were held. Had about 190 nominations for the boxing. Met some great people. Boxing was held over 3 days. Well run show.

Tommy West won gold in his age category beating Father Dave Smith. A couple of Americans went well. Jerome James was an alternate for 88 Olympic team. He beat Anthony Hembrick, fought Virgil Hill and sparred Roy Jones. Great Bloke. Referee Tony Kettlewell fought and won. A lot of former Aussie Amateur Champs as well.
