No it isn't. I won't watch him unless I know he gets spanked. All he has done is make people dislike him and therefore they will all laugh at him when he's being battered from pillar to post. Talk about self humiliation.

Stupid is as stupid does.

He really will have to be looked after, nothing in his amateur record suggests he can step up

I was at the gym the other day when he was sparring jason booth and he was humble enough. I bumped into him the next day at Manchester arena at the boxing show and he went out of his way to chat to me.

Very much seems an act although think he went too far with a character assassination of Barry

He couldn't of carried Jason Booths jockstrap on Jasons worst day, if it is an act by Patel he needs to stop it.

If uyou become so unlikeable, no-one buys tickets for your fight...Naz had the ability to be funny with it and you knew it was tongue in cheek.

I remember Calslappy trying to do it around the time of sobot and it just coming across as knobish, total faliure of a PR campaign...

Unless he's a recluse when he's not boxing he must get grief all the time from people who know who he is. F__k me I don't know anyone that likes him.

Normally I'd feel sorry for people that are outcasts, but him, he's one horrible little pricck!

And that's the point...if you're going to try the old arrogant showman type stuff, you need to ensure people realise that you're tongue in cheek. Tyson Fury does this quite well, he still has his knockers, but you can see he's having fun with it. Patel's gimmick, if it is one, is just very very unlikeable.

It's not everyone though, is it? As much as I love BN, I doubt the ratings sensation has been seen by that many. Combined with his IFILM interviews, it's still not many.

He's not even fought on TV yet, he's had about three IFL interviews and been on the Bunce hour, had two fights, in the last one was apparently lucky to get the decision against Brett Fidoe. Not much to shout about is it.

He has less Twitter followers than my GF does on her work account. Hardly a super star.
