IFLTV put out great videos. They get great access, don't ask the right questions but whatever.
However they seem to throw their toys out of their pram when things aren't going their way.
Eubank Sr made a valid point re: swearing which was echoed by quite a few people IFL interview. Just thought Kugan was out of line with his vine/instagram video. He's taken it down i believe but it was just a tad distasteful. Eubank Sr did a lot in the ring and for UK boxing, hate him or love him i don't care. Just think BOXERS should be respected a bit more for putting their life on the line each fight.
Don't get me started on Helder the sensitive tweets he puts out, blimey.... one was regarding another rival to IFL he tweeted "hope he get parkinsons" :(
I remember when Warren said can we have questions from proper media in a press conference digging at IFL few years back. Now you got IFL talking about people for other outlets new on the scene who take too much time interviewing. The irony is strong!

Some of their interviews are watchable when you are bored, however you do need to bear in mind that this outfit are just a couple of divvies with a video camera and not journalists.

I still don't get where IFL came from and who funded them (who are these people, where did they get their money from, how did they come to cover boxing? ) - I still reckon they are old school chums of Eddie who financed them as part of his Matchroom propaganda campaign !

Whatever your views of their product, Ramanathan and his business partner are only looking out for their own best interests when they buck sometimes. The people they're falling out with are all looking for publicity too, I wouldn't worry about it.

Lets be honest most people swear, some more than other, and it seems to relax the boxers so they come out of their media training shell. Who needs another media trained boxer interview, where they say nothing, it's dull.

Everyone pretty much loves Joshua, but by god his interviews are dull. Less media training, more normality and personality.

Excellent point. Wasn't Kugan a private school boy? It's hard to make a YouTube business you have to hold down other jobs. These guys are everywhere! Would not be surprised at all if they have been funded by someone. Range Rover on a YouTube budget......

True, i dont mind how they got there, their delivery ain't bad, just that they shouldn't act like Johnny BigBalls. They were moaning about Booth not granting them an interview.

I am not worried that their families might have a few quid, more that they are portraying themselves to be independent journalists when they are possibly neither.

IFL clearly favour a particular promoter - I may be completely wrong but what if they were in some way connected with that particular promoter - does that affect their product ?

I like the IFL stuff they get better interviews than the official sports media interviewers. The best one ive seen was Fury, Brown and fast Eddie chambers all together.

Another thing is when the mainstream media interview someone, they always ask questions that have been asked a zillion times. Mike Tyson still gets asked about the Holyfield ear biting incident. Everyone is bored off hearing that as much as he is answering it. They should come up with refreshing questions. The boys at IFL do that. So they do a great job IMO.

It's a bizarre campaign by English and him and Jr. are pretty much the only people in British boxing who don't give IFL interviews, which says it all.

The main reason that Ifl has done so well is because the interviews are informal and you get to see the real boxer rather than the version who gives bland responses to mainstream media etc. And yep, that includes swearing - something we all do all the time.

They are remarkably impartial in fact considering they presumably must have their own views and preferred fighters etc.

They do a good job. You get to see many of the boxers/trainers/promoters true personalities, something which is severely lacking in football.

My only issue with them is how they bite back to certain comments on their vids. They should be professional enough to rise above it.

Just because you have a sponsor it doesn't mean that they pay for everything.
