I didn't watch the show, as I would rather watch my dog take a sh1t.... What on earth is this about? Is English his new first or second name?

Lord I know Chris is eccentric..... But can I suggest he has lost the plot? Is he suffering from premature dementia

He's been signing his posts off on Twitter like that for ages. He says he takes 90 minutes to tweet most days as he's "thinking" about it. Half of his tweets lack punctuation so it looks like he's calling whoever he responds to, English. Looks daft.

This is from the BBC website:

Guess what Chris Eubank has changed his name to?

Boxing journalist Steve Bunce informs Mark Chapman that former world champion Chris Eubank has decided to change his name.

“He’s not called Eubank Sr anymore, Mark, he’s called ‘English’,” says Bunce.

“It’s in honour of his father, who when he travelled here from the Caribbean adopted all things English.”

It's ridiculous but it's Eubank so it's to be expected.

It's sad, really that he wants attention still. He ought to bed content and happy with his family and allow Chris Jnr to improve steadily instead of making silly Golovkin related announcements. I can see the joke but it wears thin.

Spot on.

He just can let go at all.

His body has given up the ghost, so he can't fight now, so he continues to live out his fantasies & need for attention through his son.

As if he isn't already; but he will become grossly unbearable if Jr wins a world title! :witzend:

Agreed.

I felt that he was a little subdued last night. Still eccentric but a bit more 'normal' than usual.

Should Jr not just be called Chris Eubank now seeing as there is no Sr anymore?

If he's got any sense of comedy timing, he'll start calling himself English Eubank Jr.

I'm a huge fan of The Eubank circus especially English.

He's great with fans and awkward with journalists. Great entertaining combo.

Also he said Cojones on live Tv which takes serious Cojones to do. Cojones is a great word in Spanish that English is saying.

Next fight he might be called Bi-Lingual Eubank.

He can be frustrating at times but he is a one off and can come out with some cracking stuff.

Unfortunately as with all one-offs they are literally one-off and Jnr doesn't have the personality or charisma for what they are trying to do.

Can you imagine if English and Tyson Fury were related - they would have some nuts interviews (Tyson could even change his name to Irish).

Eubank is good pr for Eubank but at the end of the day he makes a fool of himself by making grandiose statements about himself and his son which are then proved wrong. If he really wants to be thought of as smart he wouldn't make such easily refutable claims.

is that what he ended up apologizing for cause I couldn't understand what was wrong , it went a bit weird when he was talking about an announcement next week during his cajones speech and then he went silent and apologised an and then sky apologised.
