Has anyone got any info from Compubox on this? I recall hearing that the record for punches thrown in a heavy fight was Ibeabuchi vs tua, that Rocky Marciano threw far more punches per round than any other heavy champ and that Joe Louis is miles ahead when it comes to accuracy and that Mayweather is miles ahead when it comes to not being hit. these all seem obvious i guess but its nice to have some evidence to back up these things.
These are just things peeps have posted on the forums from time to time. Anyone got any more? I think it'd be an interesting way to rank all time greats perhaps?

Re: Rating past greats vs current via compubox
I created a thread once with Marciano's work rate being counted per round. I believe I used the following fights: Matthews, Louis, Charles I & II, Cockell and Moore. For good measure, I also compared those fights to some of Muhammad Ali's and Holyfield's. Marciano, from my own findings, averaged around 95-110 punches per round.cfang wrote:Has anyone got any info from Compubox on this?
