I wouldnt be to harsh on the guy...you have to remember he`s coming back from some nasty cuts.....they arnt going to throw him in with some guy who`s gonna be all elbows and headbutts.....on his US debut...imagine he gets nutted..big fornicate off gash on his porkie and the Floyd fight is out on its arse

....I dont think the Frietas fight is any worse than Gatti.......Gatti was a super-feather once..as was Floyd....and Frietas was a fornicating huge SF.
I know he`s fought diddly to prove himself at the weight....but the guy is a puncher....

Dont get me wrong...i would love to see the floyd fight...or even Cotto.

Yeah Freitas was fighting at Ligt Welter, but one opponent was well within the lightweight limit and the other just 1/4 pound over..... so Hatton will be his first actual Light Welter opponent........

You can't question Warren anymore now that Hatton is on his own. He has a great win vs Tszyu, and follows it up with Muassa and a blown up Freitas. He just keeps fulfilling the knock that people have against him by not fighting who he should. Him and Floyd should get together and fight just to end the bickering.

If he ends up fighting Ben Rabah and Freitas I will lose a lot of respect for him. Nobody wants to see him in fights like that at this point in his career. Okay, so it isn't easy to make the Cotto or Mayweather fights right now, but surely his promoters can do better than a blown up lightweight and a fringe contender who has beaten nobody of any note.

I would be really disappointed if he fights Freitas. I can understand Rabah since he is the mandatory. It would be an easy fight to make, and with his mandatory out of the way its easier to go for the big fights.

I very much get the impression that team Hatton are going to tread water until a super fight comes along. The problem is, what happens if it doesn't? Hatton needs to be fighting a better calibre of opponent to cement his legacy, one win over Tszyu isn't enough in a whole career to make you a legend. Maybe he doesn't give a fornicate about being a legend, who knows....

seems like Castillo, if he keeps winning, fights Corrales & then Cotto. Mayweather seems bent on fighting Judah, no matter how devalued he is. So Ricky will probably fight his mandatory Rabbah and then pick and choose name opponents who're too small or past their best - with a superfight maybe in 2007
