What the actual F#ck?? Wasnt Tureano Johnson vs Eamonn O'Kane an IBF Eliminator?
How can 2 guys coming of losses fight on an eliminator (Especially Soliman)? I dont get it..

Wow. This is a bad eliminator.
Soliman did seem to get robbed in his last fight though.

Johnson - O'Kane I believe is for the WBC Silver, which Johnson won against Alex Theran. I'm pretty sure Johnson wouldn't be able to be the mandatory for both IBF and WBC at the same time so he probably chose WBC route. I might be wrong though.Aaronide_ger wrote:What the actual F#ck?? Assuming Tureano wins and GGG wins, I wouldn't expect that fight to happen until after GGG fights winner of Cotto-Canelo. Plus Tureano's record at this point is a bit thin, I would think he would have to be at least 20-0 before he fights the winner of the GGG/Lemieux/Canelo/Cotto tournament. Whoever comes out of this tournament the winner would most definitely be the top PPV star out there, so it makes sense for Tureano to wait it out, because in the end he will make more money fighting the winner of these clashes later on. If I was him I would first try to get a rematch with Curtis Stevens to avenge that one loss.

Decent fight although nobody in their right mind is going to want to see the Golovkin/Lemeiux winner fight the winner of this.
Hopefully Murata, Khrytov, and Magomedov start getting pushed up the ladder soon because the MW division needs fresh blood.

It's a final eliminator for the IBF title, they might have tagged the WBC silver onto it as well but it's definitely an IBF eliminator, the winner is mandatory for whoever holds the IBF title after the main event, they won't be WBC mandatory though even if the silver title is on the line.klitoris wrote:Johnson - O'Kane I believe is for the WBC Silver, which Johnson won against Alex Theran. So he goes for the WBC so he has to wait because heiland is #1 and GGG is already the mandatory.klitoris wrote:Johnson - O'Kane I believe is for the WBC Silver, which Johnson won against Alex Theran. I wouldnt mind watching Ndam vs GGG February before he faces Cotto - Canelo, He will gain another KO against a former World champion.

Soliman was hard dome by against Wade alright.PredatorHayds wrote:Wow. This is a bad eliminator.

Lost on points in a fight he appeared to win against an American with an American referee and 3 American judges doing the scoring

Re: Ηassan Νdam Vs Sam Soliman IBF Eliminator set for 11/21 this year
A very important fight for Sam. He hadn't lost for over 5 years when his knee and IBF title went against Jermain Taylor, and then he was on the wrong end of the decision against Wade - see above - in a fight many thought he won.
The cold hard reality is Sam turns 42 just prior to the N'Dam fight and if he were to lose that would make 3 losses in a row. The upside is a win would put him in line for another title challenge. Very important fight

Yep and we can see if Triple G can actually nail his arse to the canvas this time. Kid Chocolate (Peter Quillin) had Ndam down six times and still couldn't finish him off.ikorolev wrote:So, N'Dam finally wants to be sacrificed to Triple God ?

N'Dam vs Soliman if OFF.
Hassan N'Dam will instead fight Avtandil Khurtsidze, in what will be a rematch. They first met 5 years ago with N'Dam winning on points.
