Former WBA 154-pound title holder Yuri Foreman is returning to boxing after an extended absence.

He tweeted: "After being away from boxing for two years, I'm happy to announce that I'm coming back on December 5th!"

No opponent has been officially identified, but the comeback is expected to take place at Brooklyn, New York's Barclay Center on the Danny Jacobs-Peter Quliin undercard. In 2014, Foreman was training for a bout at Madison Square Garden when he abruptly retired due to a dispute with his manager. --Scott Shaffer

i thought his manager contract issues meant the only way he could fight was to do it
in europe. i thought he would wind up with matchroom or sauerland.
