I believe Whyte is better natural boxer, he is loose, has better balance, better overall technique. AJ is bigger and stronger. I am not making the point that Whyte is going to win. Have it 40/60 or 30/70, the point is that the outcome is unpredictable and at 9/1 it is that rare opportunity.

I agree with all of this and agree that Whyte is a very live dog, but AJ is favourite and nobody will be surprised if he blows him away. In saying that, none of us know how AJ will react when he's hit and Whyte is still largely an unknown quantity so it wouldn't be the biggest upset of all time if he was to win.

I don't know how you can say this is a 50/50 fight. It is a 90/10 fight at best. As you say, both are relatively untested, but you can have a look at the style and ease by which AJ has dominated opponents. If Whyte wins we will all be on here talking about it and our disbelief, that reaction isn't befitting a 50/50 fight.
Bookies' odds for boxing almost never reflect the true likely outcome of a fight. Not even worth thinking about how it's all calculated tbh, just lump on whenever they give you the opportunity.

I explained why I think its 50/50, stylistically and skill wise. I dont see how anyone can think its 9/1 to be honest. Apart from AJ hype nothing supports that.
As for disbelief, if you take a look at our recent poll you will see that 30% backs Whyte to win. And I am sure most of the other 70% are not that sure about their pick either.

It is not a 50/50 fight when it is quite clear to most people that one boxer is going to get ironed out early doors.
