David Haye UPDATE & Tournament
there was a software update that has given David Haye a Cruiserweight rating as he should have had all along....I feel that this was an oversight on my part as I should have checked for an update sooner, my apologies to anyone who wished to have him in their stable.
Haye's first fight will be in Week 4 against my own fighter J.C. Gomez

Can I take Haye instead of Qawi, as Dwight has been terrible so far
Re: David Haye
I managed Qawi once. He didn't do so hot for me eitherTomasino wrote:Fist of Legend wrote:there was a software update that has given David Haye a Cruiserweight rating as he should have had all along....I feel that this was an oversight on my part as I should have checked for an update sooner, my apologies to anyone who wished to have him in their stable.

Re: David Haye
Perhaps I should simply be awarded David Haye, due to my outstanding and unparalleled awesomeness.

you can swap for him if you want but I'll let you know there isn't too much difference between them, Haye hits harder but Qawi is more durable and possibly the better all around fighter. why not have them face each other in Week 5 for the chance to be in your stable. its a fight I'm interested in now that I've brought it up....or if you want it in week 4 I will take Gomez out of the fight and let Qawi fight Haye.
Re: David Haye
In fairness Techno89 & Kevo both had an interest in David Haye.
I would suggest a mini-tournament for The Hayemaker in Week 5. And the winner gets him, just as we did many seasons ago for Harry Greb... And for Kid Gavilan, if I can remember correctly.
Only seems fair to me.

Hey...did I....or did I not express an interest here?
Just in case it's difficult to decipher...I do.

Re: David Haye
Too bad you can't participate in that Week 5 Mini-Tourney Crease is proposing because you'll be busy managing a guy that loses to Marco HuckBoxBuzz wrote:Hey...did I....or did I not express an interest here?

Re: David Haye UPDATE & Tournament
I will let this roll for a day or two so that other Managers can make an application for The Hayemaker.Crease wrote:David Haye Tournament: (the winner gets David Haye, but has to let his Cruiserweight go)

Dariusz Michalczewski (Kevo) -Stated Haye as a preference ahead of his pick during the Draft.
I will also Private Mail Mr Kevo & Mr Techno to see if they still want Haye.

Sounds good to me

Re: David Haye UPDATE & Tournament
I stated Haye as a preference as well, though if G. Jones could somehow come through and beat two of Qawi, DeLeon, Dominguez and Michalczewski it'd almost feel like it was worth just keeping him and forgetting about Haye anyway. Nevertheless I'd like to be considered for the tournament if Techno89 or Kevo aren't interested.Fist of Legend wrote:there was a software update that has given David Haye a Cruiserweight rating as he should have had all along....I feel that this was an oversight on my part as I should have checked for an update sooner, my apologies to anyone who wished to have him in their stable.

David Haye was my first choice so count me in.

What's "fair" is that you do just exactly as WE THE PEOPLE tell you, just like we are having to do just what you tell us when it comes to your new rules.
So.....I say, Give David Haye to everybody who has made the request...... Let's all share his software........otherwise your showing favoritism, and putting some above others....when we all should be equal.
Unless of course your going to make a "rule" against such things as equality. And believe me, I wouldn't put it past you.
Oh....and do it now.
Re: David Haye UPDATE & Tournament
If there are more legitimate claims to the Hayemaker then I'm happy to pull out to make way. I've just been very disappointed with Dwight Qawi so far
Re: David Haye UPDATE & Tournament
I'll stick with Dariusz M for now guys, but thanks for the opportunity!

Mr Hyacinthus has joined the fray, just as Mr Kevo has exited the scene:HyacinthusTurnipseed wrote:I stated Haye as a preference as well, though if G. So that leaves us still on 4 applicants. We have given this 4 days, I think we'll settle for that and lock this down with the four interested Managers competing in a straight knockout tournament in Week 5, winner gets The Hayemaker.kevo wrote:I'll stick with Dariusz M for now guys, but thanks for the opportunity!

Re: David Haye UPDATE & Tournament
as I mentioned in the matchup thread this tournament will run separate of Week 5 and will not count towards records or rankings.
