What a card! Stinks like Konrads job, rubbish!
People complaining about forking out 50$ for the Mundine fight, this has surpassed anything in OZ boxing history, would have to be the worst PPV event in the world ever staged, I couldn't part with 2 bucks for this iconic event
Green couldn't put anyone half decent on the card from SMW to Cruiser cos he'd be to afraid he might get called out on national TV

Ticket sales are currently at 1809 sold. Doesn't look good for Brand Greeny does it. :oo

If Greeny wants a Mundine fight he must look spectacular then get another 2 solid top 20 wins to earn his shot. He needs to create buzz he can't hang onto Mundines tail his whole life. :shame:

The Green fight is weeks away and nobody would be providing anyone with accurate ticket sale numbers this far out anyway.

Green got nearly 9,000 to his last bout. That is fact. This stuff here only exists in your imagination

1,809? Did you open your fruitloop packet this morning and count them all?

This. What a circus the undercard is poo as well but the bogans and no nothings will lap it up. Fighting a 100+ ranked 79kg fighter at 83kg.

Not sure if your memory is short or just selective. But Mundine's PPV cards were legendary for being piss poor, year after year :OhYes:

I'm sure something a bit better than that could be arranged, looks like a low budget maximum profit setup to me, atleast give a couple of decent blokes some Showtime, like I said before, he'd be too scared to put anyone decent on, he might get called out

Can't defend an atrocious Danny Green undercard. Bring Mundine and what he has done in the past into the discussion.
I wonder if this thread will be locked for going off topic? :DD

That's because I post facts about a certain fighter that is untouchable on this forum. Yet another poster trying to change the topic let's face it you and Like a Boss are so embarrassed about this main event and undercard you have to bring Mundine's woeful undercards of the past into the conversation because it's so awful.

Good call, and let's hope it doesn't turn into yet another Danny Green hate-fest complete with the same old articles that have been posted and re-posted so many times before :TU:

Article about fight. Green focusing on Konrad not Mundine.

http://www.smh.com.au/sport/boxing/boxi ... kyz6u.html

Had to laugh at this bit.

"What Anthony says and what's reality are two separate things which is something we've come to enjoy about him," Green said.

Pot,kettle anyone?

Danny Green is by far the biggest crowd pulling Australian fighter at the present time. 8,800 at his last fight in Melbourne and no doubt another big crown in a few weeks time.

Let's keep it positive he may be the 123rd ranked 79kg fighter fighting 83kg but he's the no.1 of the 3 LHW's in Montenegro.

Green Promotions must scour the pubs of Europe looking for an opponent, blinded by the fact that there's plenty of decent fighters here in Oz. Broadhurst, Bika, Caparello , Aloha, Flannagan, Pitt, McCracken,
Does Greeny think he can promote someone nobody has ever heard of better than local fighters that are all rated above the garbage man? What is he afraid of? I'm guessing the garbage man will rollover for $, an Oz fighter will see it as an opportunity and make it a real fight, What everyone's thoughts?
