For those doubting it, Raymi was in fact a real boxer. I mean he actually existed and fought. The footage.is out there, and though I do not like to speak ill of the dead, it's pretty hilarious. I mean, he's winging away at guys, hitting elbows before they go down.
So yeah, he was real insofar as he was a boxer named Ali Raymi who fought in fights that looked.....a bit strange, to say the least.
WBA ranks a dead boxer as 11th in the world

I know there was someone appearing as "Ali Raymi" in films made for Youtube. That's about it, though. Whether his name was really Ali Raymi, to what extent other people in the films were complicit in what was going on; whether his alleged biography had any reality; all of this I am as yet unsure of.

Re: WBA ranks a dead boxer as 11th in the world
anyone else see the Ali Raymi conspiracy stuff online & twitter etc? i've always seen faked death theorys like Elvis, Tupac and others as BS but their is something about the Ali Raymi story that just doesn't seem right. Google The Ali Raymi Conspiracy or look at this page https://twitter.com/AliRaymi22May but here are some of the facts
He fought most of his fights at 22 May Sports Stadium, gets injured May 22nd in ISIS bomb attack and dies the next day (May 23rd), he joined Twitter in the month of May with this account https://twitter.com/aliraymi AND their is a separate account under the name Ali Raymi https://twitter.com/tanha27 that only ever sent one tweet DATED MAY 23rd 2012 which speaks of 'never having to work again'. = All one big coincidence ???
Then the infamous story of how the WBA had him ranked even though he had apparently passed away, but to this day their has never been a death certificate, gravesite etc the only proof is the word of his manager a Mr Felix J Arno who lives over 8,000 miles away from Yemen in America
Their are even some that think Raymi didn't even exist in the first place!
I find this story really fascinating but I can't see any boxing journalist travelling to Yemen to find out the truth
