I've just seen that Doherty is fighting Ernie Smith for the third time tonight and then gets in for a rematch with Jones. Ok the Jones fight was close and one of the Smith fights was a NC, but I would have thought Doherty would have been getting a move on.
Also he has fought Karl Taylor three times and Keith Jones twice in his fifteen fights. Hopefully he will get in the mix this year.
definately too many repeated bouts going on here. its ok for a warm up for taz jones but an opponent he hasnt fought already would be better. nobody is interested in fights like these.
