Hi this is just to get a feel from a very knowlegable group of people. I have tried to contact the admins on the page so hope they dont mind me posting this, I am currently going through making a hopefully fully licensed game with all the key areas of boxing involved where you will be the promoter to try and get your fighters to fight the best in the world. I am just looking for peoples opinions and any comments people may have.Such as how many people would you all have in each division to keep it entertaining? What features would you like to see?
Thanks for taking time to have a read look forward to hearing your comments.

Re: Boxing Promoter Game
do you live where they originally made the steak sauce?
i assume this is some sort of facebook type social networking game or
rotisserie league type deal? the problem is that boxing doesn't really
have rosters like team sports, so as soon as you pick a certain number
of top guys to revolve the game around, some of them are going to
get knocked out and others contenders will appear. i would think a
game like that would need to be more fluid as far as boxer choices.
choices should be resorted at least twice a year. the promoter angle
is ironic since promoters are the ones who keep the best from fighting
each other most often.

HAHA ye live about 15 miles from the city Worcester famous for the sauce. it will be an online and disc game that will have updates sent out all the time to keep it as accurate as possible. I am looking to start with around 70 fighters in each weight category and then to just keep updating as and when needed. I am aware that its not a team game but want it to be like you are in charge of one of the major stables ie Matchroom in England or Golden Boy in the states
Re: Boxing Promoter Game
I think the Title Bout model is fantastic. It could be slightly modified so that fighters age and as such there results diminish. Gee I have opended a can of worms as I dont have time to fully post im at work but there could be ALOT of mods to kake it even Better!!
Re: Boxing Promoter Game
Ye that game is a starting point from where I want to get think it was ok but definetly think it could be better and hope to be able to put something together to be able to beat that. I think with the new technology available its do able
