I met Mitchell in our hotel when I was in Newcastle for the Khan v Salita fight. It was the day of his fight with Prescott and he would've been forgiven for being on edge and giving me the cold shoulder but a really nice guy and I got the feeling he would've stood and chatted all day.Eddy wrote:Patel Can't bring myself to finish every interview I watch. Can't stand people like that. Represents everything I hate. Bad attitude.
Spencer Fearon. Another tosser. Talks like a 15 year old kid.
Bellow. Always aggressive, even when he's a ring commentator. When he does box, doesn't do anything.
NOW! Kevin Mitchell who's in my eyes one of the nicest guys in boxing. Respects everyone. Tough as boots Kev, but has time for everyone. Gets on with people like a true hammer

Paul Smith was with stablemate Crolla before he boxed Smith's fellow Scouser Derry. It's natural.Stuarty30 wrote:I remember spitting feathers when I saw Graham Earl was in Katsidis corner for the Burns fight (pretty sure I was half cut at the time). To be fair I'm sure they're good pals but at the time I was well pissed off.forestbox wrote:I don't see why people hate Paul smith? I don't like Paul smith at all he gets on my tits, it's Gota be Joe Gallagher though for all the crap he talks, closely followed by Kahn then Patel !
Re: Least favourite UK boxing personality
Agree with you on gallagher,a good trainer no doubt but loves the cameras and is a bigger shit stirrer than all of his fighters put together.pimp wrote:I don't like Paul smith at all he gets on my tits, it's Gota be Joe Gallagher though for all the crap he talks, closely followed by Kahn then Patel !

For me it's Chris Eubank, I can't stand him. Most people who are eccentric are funny, he's just odd and boring - because he takes his own persona much to seriously.
I heard last year that he gave a speech at Oxford, if that's true then I truly despair.

Re: Least favourite UK boxing personality
How Bellew doesn't have 100% of the vote i don't know, complete an utter ASS!!!
I'd rather listen poofy patel bang on about how great he is than listen to Bellew

Paul Smith- Can't accept people have a different opinion to him and his attitude to people "who have never laced a pair of gloves" is disgraceful.
Joe Gallagher close second though....

Any who say "Listen" before they answer a question.

why no James Degale?johnswan1 wrote:Just a bit of fun. Unfortunately I was restricted to just 10 so have tried to narrow it down to those who I felt tend to grate on people the most.

He's only "nice" now cause he got beat and humbled. Degale wasn't liked by many before that because of his attitude. After losing he must of realised he had to change his image. I don't buy that at all.
Re: Least favourite UK boxing personality
Smith out of those options
Re: Least favourite UK boxing personality
I think he just grew up and got serious to be fair to him. He had a couple of gut checks after Groves on smaller cards and it seems to have worked for him. Him and Groves were like boys in the playground during the build up to their fight. I like him but I can also see why people wouldn't.Eddy wrote:danamba7 wrote:Degale comes across pretty sound now. I don't mind Gareth Davies.rpms wrote:Surprised that Adam Booth`s included there tbh.
Can you swap him for that poncey reporter Gareth A Davies please ?
That wannabe fool really angers me,and it`s not just because of his daft hair.
My only gripe with him is why he insists on being known as Gareth 'A' Davies!
Which other Gareth Davies is he trying to differentiate himself from?

Have you noticed that it's only people who are either rich, famous or both that get called eccentric?Crease wrote:For me it's Chris Eubank, I can't stand him. Most people who are eccentric are funny, he's just odd and boring - because he takes his own persona much to seriously.
