He didn't win but the cards were pure feces. It was a close fight and GingerHead cut it too fine

I agree. I can't see it wider than 116-112
Canelo did win though. Cotto can't deal with a top level healthy MW.

7-5 Canelo

HBO all over his nuts. I'm more confident now that GGG would beat him and I hope that fight happens next year.

GGG will beat him, not a ton of doubt about that whatsoever.

but cotto screwed the wbc out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, so i guess
he got what was coming to him. this was only his 2nd defense in like 2 years
after stalling and lying when he had a mandatory right there. lots of close rounds
but something defintely is rotten in vegas. i had it 7-5 canelo

He was very competitive in the loss.

No way GingerHead fights 3G at more than 157, probably 155.

if he insists on 155, he will be stripped and ggg takes the title and he has to
go back down to campaigning at 154, where we all know he loves draining
to get down there. it won't be 155, or 156, or probably not even 157.
maybe 158. i just can't see canelo vacating because his mandatory at
160 won't meet him at 155 when he weighs in at 175 fight night, and then
instead continue to fight over the limit jr middle bouts. it doesn't sound like
him at all. a cinco de mayo weekend fight vs ggg for at least 3 of the 4,
and maybe all 4, belts would be HUGE. biggest fight of 2016. he's not going
to chicken out. no way

I had it 5-5-2 even. Judges defiantly bought. Canelo will never loose another decision

The Canelo hate on these euro boards is strong and in full effect.

The non biased folks know Canelo won that fight rather easly.

cotto won 3 rds max those saying it was close must have been watching with closed eyes just hoping Canelo would lose.

I don't know, Cotto out boxed Canelo for stretches of that fight, Canelo would land one punch and the commentators would get a hard on. There was nothing "easy" about it

I called this fight 50/50 but Cotto had nothing for Canelo his shots had zero effect and he also missed a lot, Canelo has very underrated upper body movement.

And Canelo wasn't just landing one shot a rd he was landing several thudding right hands, hooks and body shots each rd.

Its easy to see but ofcourse if one had enormous hate for a fighter you stArt seeing things that really aren't there.

Cotto boxed very well, made canelo miss on many more occasions than not, commentary was very lob sided towards canelo, many rounds could go either way but seemed to be always canelos way, Oscar has influence

Very difficult fight to score admitedley I've watched it once and I had canelo winning 115-114. Can see an argument by either. Judges scores were far to wide!

Is that how you judge, some people mark up very easily and some don't, watch Chavez v Taylor 1 and the battering Chavez took for 11 rounds and tell me what his face looked like, hardly a mark

canelo hurt cotto, cotto didnt hurt canelo. canelo won around 8 rounds, cotto around 4. canelo landed the more effective punches to the body and face. enough reasons why canelo won or do u wanna me to continue?
