GGG vs Canelo

Post by diddy »

?

Canelo appears to have a SERIOUS beard but he's never fought a guy that big and that strong. Interesting fight. The exchanges will be vicious but no way I dont take GGG here. He wont lose until he moves up. Way up now.

I'd guess judges already have seven rounds of it scored for canelo.

GGG has to kill Canelo to win by split decision

Ggg doesn't have the movement to trouble Canelo yes he has the power but Canelo is a fuucking tank with more fluid combination punching.

The ggg nuthuggery here is reaching homo lovels.

Canelo the younger more stronger and fluid fighter will beat ggg no doubt in my mind.

You also made a thread about how Cotto would beat GGG 'no doubt' in your mind.

Still believe that?

I still believe Cotto could put up a helluva fight against ggg but Canelo just took alot out if him today and at 35 the clock is ticking.

If there is "nuthuggery" reaching ridiculous levels it is yours of GingerHead.

I saw a whole lot of one and done by him tonight which gave Cotto an opportunity to steal rounds.

He was dealing with a blownup, short welter in there tonight and he lost 5 rounds on my card.

Kudos if he bothers to get in with 3G. I hope he doesn't embarrass himself by demanding a MW unification fight be made at 155.

Would be more for a poll if they could make the fight, rather then who would win.

The politics can stop it for any type of reason.

canelo is too hittable by guys that don't hit like ggg.
when canelo catches the same shots he takes from all his opponents, but this
time from ggg, it will be a whole other story.
as far as canelo hitting ggg, does canelo hit much harder than lemieux or rubio
or most of ggg's other opponents? ggg has been hittable when he feels like
mixing it up for the crowd, but is canelo that much more accurate a puncher
than ggg's other opponents? canelo could turn out to be ggg's best opponent
so far, but the beating canelo takes could affect him after.

Canelo, IMO, would be wise to swerve GGG altogether. Why bother fighting that guy? He can own 154 for as long as he wants. Sure there are some guys at 154 who can give him a tussle (Lara, Andrade, Charlo) but none of those guys can get a decision against him so why test fate?

If Canelo doesnt fight Golovkin can we really say he's ducking him? GGG is talking about moving to 168 and Canelo is a 154 lb fighter. Sure he's got the BS Cotto 160 lb belt but we all know the deal there. The commission should just pay Canelo to vacate the damn thing so guys that actually campaign in the division can fight for it, but with all the money behind Canelo we know that will NEVER happen. Let's keep it real, there's nobody for GGG to fight at 160.

to me, they should do business at their own weight.

canelo should take care of charlo bros and andrade

ggg has enough good opponents with quillin, murata and lee.

if business is done and they cleaned the division than a match up between ggg and canelo would be even bigger.

Just don't see anything but a stoppage, Golovkin does what he needs to do, he can box better than we often see because he knows he can take the punches and others can't take his. This is no different. He can and will land, he is not just physically bigger he hits way too hard and both body and head. This could be a pretty savage beating but I just don't see it lasting 6 never mind 12 rounds.

I would pick GGG by UD or late KO. GGG has a lot more skills than punching power like some think. Very under-rated boxer. Canelo would put up a good fight, but can't see him winning. Please, no more 155 bs. Time to man up to 160 or give the belt away.

Canelo is a great fighter who's only weakness seems to be fighting going backwards.

GGG main strength is his ring general ship. I have never seen someone so good at cutting off the ring and making fighters move how he wants to.
I can see GGG moving Canelo back and outboxing him until Canelo holds his feet and loses a exchange mid to late rounds.

Dude get real all the 154 pound fighters are HAYMON fighters, there is no real fighter there that canelo can fight (He has already fought most of them) And he CANT make 154 anymore accept it! He was training for this fight since JULY , sparred 170 rounds and still BARELY made 155 to the dot.. He was HUMONGOUS come fight night..

If he doesnt fight GGG AT LEAST at 158 or above he is clear ducking this one, there is nothing real for him at 154 look at how many good fights are out there for him at 160, only 2 guys in the top10 are Haymon fighters and nobody gives a f#ck about them.. This fight has to happen RIGHT NOW! If it doesnt I really will get really dissapointed but Canelo will get stripped and will lose all of my respect, Golovkin would still get the title and will only need Andy Lee to become undisputed (already said he will fight GGG).
