How did he get a high rank in the first place? For me, this journeyman os actually his 3rth best opponent in his entire carreer?! The journeyman looks bad at first sight because of his loses, but if you look better you'll see pretty much everyone he lost against is simply a top contender, unlike Stiverne, who pretty much only fought bums.

Thats the other thing. I never considered Stiverne top 5. He has not done anything to warrant that. However others voted him up, just because WBC threw a belt at him, much like Wilder. So in this kind of situations when there is another vote, I down vote to what I think is an appropriate position.

Topic A - How are the rankings affected by Alexander Povetkin's TKO12 win over Mariusz Wach?

My vote: Povetkin remains at #1, Wach remains unranked.

Topic B - How are the rankings affected by Bermane Stiverne's UD10 win over with Derric Rossy?

My vote: Stiverne to #11, Consugera remains unranked.

That's the whole problem, most high ranked Americans are only that high ranked because they continually avoid Europeans and Russians.
Rossey didn't and now Americans think he's a bum while he isn't at all for American standards. Stiverne, and Malik Scott shouldn't be this high at all, they wouldn't survive against the top of Europe, or even close. It's really a joke to put Stiverne in any top 15 list, he doesn't belong there. Imagine where Cunningham would have been if he never fought Europeans lol, he would have been you guys their best American ever or something.

Until recently I would have agreed about Mailk Scott, but his recent win over Thompson is enough to put him roughly where he is IMO.
Stiverne was highly ranked due to two victories over Arreola and his only recent loss coming against Wilder, who himself is highly ranked, but signs in his last fight are that he seems to be on the downward curve in his career and deserves to drop down (but not out) the rankings.
I like Cunningham and think he has been the victim of a few robberies down the years and on his best day is capable of picking up a big scalp or two, but I have a feeling he will be fed to one of the beast-like prospects that are coming through before long.

Just to feed the troll: Thompson practically ended the careers of Europeans David Price and Luan Krasniqi.

Lol, both of them are bums as well, have either of them ever been in the top 30? They sure won't do currently.

So, "every European" doesn't include "bums"? lol

Sorry, current top 30 then

To the guy below me, sorry, but lol, Luan Krasniqi beated well over 80% of the American boxers he fought, even though he only fought two Americans where I have ever heard of and lost them both.
Thompson lost 50% of his fights against Europeans and I've only heard about two of them and lost them all, in the beginning I didn't even realise Luan Krasniqi was European actually.

Top American heavyweight boxers allways lose against top European boxers the last decade(s) and even the very few they do win are lucky wins (Klitschko Brewster, name them).

Thompson lost to practically every European he ever faced, except those he didn't.

Now can you both shut up?
