funny haha or funny annoying that he has several different pronunciations of his own
name that get weirder over time? i have a portuguese last name. if it gets pronounced
the old way or the american way i don't say anything because they are both correct.
neither of those videos even come close to what he has the media saying these
days. if they stopped putting him on tv altogether, it would end the discussion.
lots of boxers call themselves sandman because they put their opponents to sleep.
rigo should be called the sandman for putting the tv audience to sleep.

Believe it or not I was painting, I didn't admire it drying onto the wall but you get the picture.

There are times I watch Rigo and admire his talent, then it is time for the second round.

Yeah, you gotta be a real Pureist to enjoy his style...

or maybe not?
I thought the same thing. How can you call yourself a pureist when you do not enjoy watching him?
While I'm an avid boxing and MMA fan, I do not care for overly defensive fighters. Sure, it's a honed craft, but I need some excitement. Evander was the man who got me into the sport, and as much as I've tried to really get into the technical proficiencies of defensive fighters like Rigo, I just cannot do it.

Well, to be fair, pureist is a made up word - so he's free to do as he pleases.

Because Rigo is desperately lacking in areas of his game.

Rigo can be boring. However, what he did to Donaire was anything but a snoozer. He should be in with top level talent that makes him get into at least 3rd gear. I would love to see him in with Frampton, Santa Cruz, Loma, etc.

When we talk about Floyd at his best we talk about the destruction of Corrales and the beat down of Gatti...we haven't seen that from Rigondeaux since he hammered Rico Ramos
