call me crazy, but down the line, this could actualy happen.

both abut the same age, like 5-7 years left. both have similar height, similar reach.

imagine ggg puting on some extre muscles and (same as pacquiao) his power coming along with him moving up in weight, why not?

jones was 154, middleweight boxer and became a heavyweight for one night, why couldnt ggg give us arguably the biggest match up in light heavyweight history.

imagine ggg vs kovalev 2019, at least it would not go the distance, this one for sure

At this point one would have to give the edge to Kovalev, he has shown that he is fully developed in his boxing skills, Golovkin hasnt' had the type of defensively skilled opponent who can take his best and take him the distance yet (maybe because he is so dominant).

Still one would think that with Kova having a size and height advantage that he already has some significant advantages there but one always have to reflect back to the sparring they had and it was put out there that GGG owned him.

On the flip side of that is that most fans say that "sparring means nothing", so the question is; how much stake do you put into the sparring stories and who would you say faced the better opposition (no question it's Kova).

The edge rests with Kova in my opinion.
