The place to watch Klitschko-Fury in London

Post by Tuan_Jim »

The week of the fight is upon us and I have WAR FURY stirring in my bowels. This seems a relatively big night and so the desperado tramp to a Leicester Square casino is surely unnecessary. Has anyone found any good watering holes for watching the fights in the capital? Please share. xxx

I would just scan facebook contact a few of the pubs you know and ask them
I know when Haye Fought a lot of pubs jumped on board , the more its advertised all week then would think some pubs will get it on.

ive already asked my local pub that would normally show the fights and awaiting there response , that's in Paisley though mate so well out your zone

That would be a trek! Yes David Haye is the only UK fighter I can recall of recent times where everywhere seemed to be playing his fights, even pubs on my own street, which is otherwise a total boxing deadzone. Hopefully some Fury antics this week will ignite interest!

I reckon a lot of pubs will get this - will do good numbers and it will be on at a decent time. No need to venture up west - I couldn't think of anything worse!

Does anybody ever go in that there Tom Cribb pub. I forget it's location. It's in London. I fancy popping my head inside the door there one day, as well as paying his stone a visit, where I believe a lion sits on top of it. The grave's in Woolwich I think.

It's at Leicester Square, my Dickensian friend, down a backstreet. I've peered in the windows and, in spite of the name, seen no sign of a TV set to broadcast fights.

Bear in mind, the ring walks will probably take about three weeks.
