And there are probably another 10 ish guys that would have given him serious problems in his prime (I currently can't really rate him).
Haye is a nice cruiserweight, a very nice one in fact, but the heavyweight is simply a totally differend league.
Joshua already proved more for me as Haye has done and probably will ever do.
This is why you get so little respect on this site.
Joshua who could weel turn out to be an awesome heavyweight has accomplished very little so far as a heavyweight. He has the potential but he has not proven to be among the elite YET.
Haye who I despise more than any fighter out there today.Has beaten Monte Barrett,Nikolay Valuev,John Ruiz and Derrick Chisora. Those 4 trump everyone of Joshua's opponents.
Comments like this and not knowing who Andre Ward is.Just show how little you know about the sport.
Why not read and learn from some of the more experienced posters and stop posting such stupid comments.
I'm not after respect, but let's get real, David Haye fought 7 heavyweights in his entire life at all and pretty much all of them were on a losing record just before David Haye or right after.
I already wrote:
"Really, put David's heavyweight performance in numbers:
Monte Barrett, barely a heavyweight himself, only won 1 out of his next 7 matches and even in that match he got KOed, but managed to stand back up again and win on points.
John Ruiz, a 38 year old that retired immedietly after
Audley Harrison, lol, who even got KOed by David Price in the first round later on.
Dereck Chisora, who lost his two matches before and before that luckely won on points against a 18 win, 43 losing cruiserweight that currently has a 20 win 61 losing rate...
Sorry mate, I know some people still think he's something special, but he really isn't, not even close. In fact Mark is a far better opponend as I expected him to take."
Now Anthony Joshua at the same time fought 5 heavyweights out of the top 100 and finished all of those matches with an avarage of less then two rounds.
Only once in David Haye his entire life he managed to finish a heavyweight match as fast as Anthony Joshua is doing on avarage against top 100 heavyweights... You're really comparing a wolf with a lion, some firework with an military bomb, a Land Rover with a truck, a pike with a shark, a bullet with a cannonball. And I fully admit, I don't want a wolf after me, I don't want firework on me, a land rover over me, hit by a bullet or bitten by a pike, but I very well know what I prefere if I had to choose.
