Beyer wa slow though and tried to box him more although he did go for some swings.

Bit of a slow fighter Beyer.

Not bad for my first Round By Round.

What?! I don't know why Beyer keeps fighting, he is immensly dull and has no ambitions to leave Germany or unify, he just sits at home beating shit that doesn't even deserve to spit polish his title. Beyer should just retire and save Freiheit and co the trouble of having to sit through this crap and do a round by round.

Beyer and Ulli Wagner was not satisfied with the choice of opponent. They said they want to be part of a unification tournament, if Sauerland wants that is another question.

Beyer doesn't make it out of the first fight with the other Super Mid title holders. Kessler would outbox him easily to a UD maybe late TKO, Lacy KO's him early, Calzaghe would be his best bet to win if he could catch him, but I think Calzaghe gets him mid to late KO.

I'd love to see Lacy get a shot at Beyer after he finishes off Calzaghe. I figure Lacy would be willing to go to Germany to make the fight happen (he'd also likely get a good payday out of it).

Calzaghe would have a really easy night with Beyer. Beyer is just as slow as Lacy but Lacy would be strong for him and get the KO.

I watched 1 minute of the first round and turned it off.
You could tell from the terrified Italian's reactions it was going to be a stinker. Taped it just in case, but reading this I can see there's no point watching it now.

I absolutely agree. I had a nice sleep. Beyer is a good sleeping pill. He did a good job in the second Green-fight, but all other defenses are more boring than Ottke-fights. I am looking forward to the next Abraham-fight....

Interesting is that Sauerland told the press that they want to unify titles and would talk to the management of Kessler and Lacy.........but not to the management of Calzaghe

A couple of years ago Sauerland said said he dont rate WBO and he would only want to promote IBF/WBA/WBC fights. But since then he had a few WBO intl fights and 1 WBO title fights, but it was Rüdiger May and Timo Hoffmann that fourght for them, and they were both a long way from earning any titleshots in the 3 other orgs.

Sören, I think it has something to do with the special friend of boxrec and not with the WBO.........
