What standards or guidelines does BOXREC employ to determine what counts as a professional fight and is recorded in the database? How do you decide - is it up to John Sheppard or do all the editors take a vote?
Specifically:
1. Is anything that is related to AIBA (World Series of Boxing & AIBA Pro Boxing) automatically considered non-professional? How can you justify excluding APB bouts from the database when they bill themselves as professionals, fight like professionals with the same equipment and rules, include participation by actual professionals with professional records, and get paid like professionals?
2. Why are certain fights in Korea considered professional and others not?
3. Why are some of the Bigger's Better fights not included in the database?
