Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
"There will be a rematch. It is still early and I have to process things but there will definitely be a rematch. I was well prepared for this fight but he was quick for his height."

Plenty he could do different.
But question is will he? Can he?

Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
The only realistic chance Klitschko has if Fury pulls a Arreola in the rematch and fights at 270. Against a fat Fury even the old Klitschko can land some punches.

I think his wife is going to talk him into retirement. She has mentioned it numerous times in
interviews.I think it is best for Wlad.He had a great career and has nothing to prove he lost with dignity.

Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
Unless Wlad FIGHTS next time, he won't win. He could've won today, he just didn't try.
Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
He lost with no dignity whatsoever. He would've been better off to come out bombs away in the 1st round, and quit on his stool after the 1st from exhaustion. At least that way he would've tried to win for 3 minutes.tiny_acres wrote:I think his wife is going to talk him into retirement. She has mentioned it numerous times in

Why does everyone think the only way to lose with dignity is to get knocked the fvck out?
You know he still has a life after the sport? He knew he lost he admitted it and even said Fury was the better
man tonight.That is dignity.
I am no fan of Klitschko the boxer as I have always found him boring. But he has always had class.
Today was no different.
Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
He didn't even try to win. It'd be one thing if he was legitimately outboxed. He didn't even try.
If Wladimir would've stayed home, and Fury would've bounced around the ring shadow boxing, and then been crowned Heavyweight Champion of the World. It would've been the same thing we saw today. Wlad might as well not even have been there.

Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
I don't really see anything outside of some one-shot haymaker that would change anything in a rematch. Actually think Wlad likely gets stopped and calls it a career,
Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
What I saw was a old Klitschko. That was starting with the Jennings fight. Fury had something to do with it as well. The Revival wrote:He didn't even try to win. It'd be one thing if he was legitimately outboxed. He didn't even try.

Fury stops him in the rematch. His confidence will be through the roof.

Too much confidence might lead to his downfall.zorndeslammes wrote:Fury stops him in the rematch. His confidence will be through the roof.
If Wladimir has a more aggressive approach in the rematch then things could be a lot different.
Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
great, he gonne get his face battered again
Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
...I was surprised Wlad was outboxed, didn't expect that...can't say he didn't try, in fact he tried his best...Fury did a good job using his reach, reflexes etc. to his advantage...I don't know what Wlad can do better in a rematch...39 is a respectable age, Wlad should think twice now what he should do next...
Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
Wlad will have to be ultra aggressive in the rematch because Fury is gonna try to stink up the joint against him with jabbing and moving out of range all night using his younger reflexes again.
It's humorous that Fury lambastes Klitschko for being a boring fighter yet implements a game plan that will limit the amount of exchanges in the fight. Which is fine but don't call Wlad boring and then go in there with a game plan to move all night, paw with the jab for 12 rds and play spoiler. His game plan was to not give Wlad a stationary target and that's the proper game plan but it sure as hell made the fight awful to watch.

Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
What's also humorous is Wlad landed 4 body punches the entire fight. You slow a guy down by banging him to the body. Klitschko didn't even seem to bother trying with Fury's trunk protector literally halfway up his torso. His protector was so high Fury was constantly fiddling with his trunks to keep them from falling off completely because the protector was so high and the trunks couldn't stay up with them.

Never said they were. Obviously the point of the post was entirely lost on you. Don't criticize a guy for being boring and then implement the most boring game plan imaginable against him. It's hypocritical.Chepppaaa wrote:diddy wrote:Wlad will have to be ultra aggressive in the rematch because Fury is gonna try to stink up the joint against him with jabbing and moving out of range all night using his younger reflexes again.

But he's now the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Fury talks a lot during any build up, 90% of it shouldn't be listened to, he has admitted that much himselfdiddy wrote:Never said they were. Obviously the point of the post was entirely lost on you. Re: Wlad To Use Rematch Clause
When has wlad EVER gone to the body ? he has always been a one dimensional robot. Jab and right hand to the head. Extremely rare left hook. To the head. That's it. That's his arsenal. Oh yeah I forgot the grab. He has no plan b, no adjustments. ATG. Sure.diddy wrote:What's also humorous is Wlad landed 4 body punches the entire fight. You slow a guy down by banging him to the body. What can Wlad do different? Grow a set of testicles would be top my list.
