He will chase Fury or Wilder like an idiot just like they were Wlad.
Total waste to the division. He is not a real contender

I doubt Team Fury would put up with Briggs the same way the Klitschkos did.

No doubt! Briggs would go for it from the opening bell.

He'd need to with all that juice in him although I was surprised he made a 12 rounder in his comebackCutman Scabbers wrote:macaca wrote:Briggs would be more entertaining than that fight maybe!!

Briggs would go all out for about 30 seconds until he started huffing and puffing and couldn't hold his humongous arms up any longer . . .

Re: What Does This Mean for Shannon Briggs?
Did you see that 12 rounder? His punch output after the first was probably 5-6 punches per round . . .I'm not even exaggerating.macaca wrote:He'd need to with all that juice in him although I was surprised he made a 12 rounder in his comebackCutman Scabbers wrote:macaca wrote:Briggs would be more entertaining than that fight maybe!!

Re: What Does This Mean for Shannon Briggs?
Logically, he should retire, but I am afraid he will not.
He already got an completely undeserved titleshot against Vitali a couple of years ago, and he possibly hopes for another one. I do not know what is his financial situation, but there were some rumours he got only 25k for Vitaly fight (I do not know if and how it was settled in court afterwards), so I guess he needs $$$ as well.

Ideally... retire.
Realistically, he'll probably call out Fury. He's been a shot fighter for years and is completely irrelevant to the current heavyweight scene.

Re: What Does This Mean for Shannon Briggs?
It means he's still not a Top 50 contender just like before.
Re: What Does This Mean for Shannon Briggs?
It means Briggs will have to eat what the champion Fury eats from now on.

Re: What Does This Mean for Shannon Briggs?
Don't think he'll stalk Fury now like he did Wlad. The Fury's are not a bunch to be messed with. Retire!
